This really opened my eyes. When you start to think you could really use some of these things, and they would work everywhere, it opens up lots of new ideas.
Foremost were:
- The ability to specify background gradients
- Rounded corners
- Opacity
- Box shadows
- Transparent colors
Thanks to Louis Lazaris for opening my eyes about some of these! I just did my first fully CSS-based gradient background today.
